· Senior Tony Buzan Licensed Instructor in Mind Mapping and Intelligent Memory.
I am a AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (TSW) Course Presenter of more than 25 years’ experience operating a Swim School and a Senior Coach (Swimming) under the National Registry of Coaches (NROC) in Singapore. In 2018, upskilling myself in the field of Training and Adult Education (TAE) sector as certified Adult Educator (AE) with a qualification of Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) an initiative of Skills Future Singapore (SSG), to adopt an innovative mindset and skill to provide effective facilitation both online and face2face program for my leaners beyond classroom learning.
Myself as a Lifelong Learner and Educator, I began to explore the use of Mind Mapping as a tool for both my personal life and profession, with great curiosity to understand the beauty of Mind Mapping. Eventually, I completed the Advanced Partitioner certification course in Mind Mapping, and privileged to have Dr Jorge Castaneda, Grand Master Trainer and CEO of Tony Buzan International, as my Mentor and Tutor in my journey achieving the prestige qualification as Tony Buzan License Instructor (TBLI). Mind Mapping has unlocked the door of my own learning and development, as the Founding Father, Creator and Originator of Mind Mapping Professor Tony Buzan often called the “Swiss Army Knife of the Brain”.
Mind Mapping as a powerful technique for organizing information visually and stimulating creative thinking, capture and connect ideas in a structured and meaningful way, as famously quoted by Professor Tony Buzan:
“Mind Mapping is a technique based on memory and creativity and comprehension and understanding, so when the student or a child uses the mind map, they are using their brain in the way their brain was designed to be used, and so the mind helps them in all learning and cognitive skills. It simply helps them in what the brain does naturally.”
As an Educator and Coach, I am always excited to share the connectivity of TEFCAS formula with Mind Map thought patterns towards a positive success of individual goals. The TEFCAS model developed by Professor Tony Buzan with an acronym of Try, Event, Feedback, Check, Adjust and Success allows us to appreciate all success is the result of failures.
Together, let us unlock the power of our brain and fulfil our true potential with Mind Map as our thinking tool to achieve greater level of productivity and success in every aspect of our life.
